We make every effort to display every product as close to the physical product as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that what is displayed is exactly what is received due to the process and limitations of Digital Recreation and varying Computer & Display Settings.

THE GIST: The products as displayed on OurWearhouse.com may look different in-person.

If you are concerned about:

  • The color of the product/design: Colors displayed digitally may appear differently in-person and from device to device due to each device's unique settings and make.
    • If exact color matching is of your utmost concern, we recommend requesting a sample product, a "Spec Sample," prior to approving the product for your store so that you may review the colors in-person.
  • The size of the design on the product. Please refer to the physical measurements, located in the Product's "Decoration Specs" section, for the exact size of the decoration. Designs may look larger on smaller-sized products and vice versa.
    • If retaining design proportionality from size to size is of your utmost concern, please ask us about "Variable Size Printing."
  • The location of the design on the product. Please refer to the placement name, located in the Product's "Decoration Specs" section, and refer to this guide for placement definitions and guidelines.
Digital Recreation

All product images are digital recreations, also called "mock-ups" or "proofs." We make every effort to digitally apply designs, also called the "art," onto the product as they would physically appear in-person. However, we cannot guarantee that what is displayed will look exactly as what is received due to limitations within the digital recreation process and the inherent nature of different product sizes.

Size of the Design

Please refer to the "Decoration Specs" section of each product for exact design dimensions.

Our product images are sourced from our vendors or direct from the manufacturer. These images, and their sources, generally do not provide the size of product pictured. Without knowing the product's size, we do not know its dimensions. Without knowing the product's exact dimensions, we cannot accurately (proportionately) apply the design to the product.

Furthermore, the design on an XS product in-person may look "bigger" than it does displayed. On the other hand, the design on a 5XL product in-person may look "smaller" than it does displayed even though both designs are the same size; the different dimensions of the product, the sizes, will affect how the design looks proportionately.

For small designs, we are happy to provide upon request a printable document with your designs so that you may review your design's size in-person. For larger designs, that don't fit on an 8.5" x 11" piece of paper, we recommend using a ruler or measuring tape.

Location of the Design

Please refer to the "Decoration Specs" section of each product for its location (placement) on the product and below for each placement's definition and guidelines.

The following guidelines are for Adult Styles/Sizes.

  • Left Chest (as in your Left Chest. When wearing the shirt and looking down, the design will be on your left.)
    • The top, center point of the design is aligned with a point 4" left of the product's horizontal center and 3" below the base of the collar/neck seam. Tolerance +/- 0.5"
  • Right Chest (as in your Right Chest. When wearing the shirt and looking down the design will be on your right.)
    • The top, center point of the design is aligned with a point 4" right of the product's horizontal center and 3" below the base of the collar/neck seam. Tolerance +/- 0.5"
  • Center Chest
    • The top, center point of the design is aligned with a point at the product's horizontal center and 3" below the base of the collar/neck seam. Tolerance +/- 0.5"
  • Center Back
    • The top, center point of the design is aligned with a point at the product's horizontal center and 4" below the base of the collar/neck seam. Tolerance +/- 0.5"
    • Art greater than 15"H will be aligned  with a point at the product's horizontal center and 3" below the base of the collar/neck seam. Tolerance +/- 0.5"
  • Back Yoke/Neck
    • The top, center point of the design is aligned with a point at the product's horizontal center and 1" below the base of the collar/neck seam. Tolerance +/- 0.5"
  • Right/Left Sleeve, for Short Sleeves
    • The bottom, center point of the design is aligned with the sleeve face's horizontal center and 1" above the sleeve seam. Tolerance +/- 0.5"
  • Right/Left Sleeve, for Long Sleeves
    • The center point of the design is aligned with the sleeve face's horizontal and vertical center. Tolerance +/- 2"

In addition to an allowable tolerance, we reserve the right to adjust placements should the product feature physical elements that affect the placement area. Zippered pockets, seams or other decorative stitching that encroaches, splits, or visually anchors the placement area may affect how we place the design to ensure it appears visually centered.

Computer & Display Settings

We make every effort to digitally display every product as close to how it physically appears in-person. However, we cannot guarantee that what is displayed will look exactly as what is received due to the many variations in Screen Settings and due to a product's Shade Variations.

Screen Settings

Every screen displays colors differently; there's a less than a 5% chance they're displayed the same, even if the device is the same make and model.

There are three main reasons this occurs:

      1. The manufacturer has its own color balance preference. Go the to TV aisle at any big box store and its easy to see which TVs have been altered/enhanced by the manufacturer to display their interpretation of the best image quality.
      2. Fundamental color mixing theory is different across different mediums. When we reproduce images digitally, as in displaying images on computer screens, the “additivity color mixing” method is often used (think: RGB). When reproducing images physically, such as using ink to print an image, “subtractive color mixing” method is often used (think: CMYK).
      3. Mass production inherently allows for variation. Generally, a manufacturer allows around 5% variation per component in order to produce quickly and at a reasonable price. With at least 10 layers of components that makeup a computer monitor panel, the variation between each device may easily be as high as ~50%.

If it is important that the product be exact, it is highly recommended that you order a produced sample, a "Spec Sample," first, before selecting it for your store or placing the remainder of the order.

Shade Variations

Please refer to the "Description" section of each product to see if it is subject to shade variations. Depending on how a product is dyed, it may experience more shade variation (i.e. lighter or darker, more or less saturated) from one piece to the next. Typically these are Pigment- or Garment-Dyed, Vintage or Mineral-Washed product categories.

A Note on Color Names

Two different products with the same color name may appear differently. In other words, one brand's "Black" may appear darker, or more saturated, than another brand's "Black" due to the different dye, fabric, or manufacturing process used.

Color names may not be what you interpret them to be. In other words, a product with the color name, "Grape,"  does not mean it will necessarily look like what you, or most people, would consider to be a "Grape" color.

We do not recommend ordering using color names as your guide. Please provide a color code, if available, and we are happy to provide recommendations.
